Our team recently returned from an inspiring week at Cinekid in Amsterdam, a vital hub for creativity and storytelling for young audiences. It was a week filled with milestones, from world premieres to industry insights.
From Research to the Big Screen
The week opened with the world premiere of the Danish film “Mira”. Having supported this project with audience research during its development, it was a privilege for our team to see the final film on the big screen. Congratulations to Toolbox Film, Morten Kaufmann, and the entire team.
Leading the Conversation on Young Audiences
At the Industry Forum, our partner Rikke Flodin hosted the “Audiences of Tomorrow” session. The discussion focused on co-creation with children, audience development, and the power of fandom, sharing our methodology for building deeper engagement with the next generation of viewers.
The PUBLIKUM Audience Awareness Award
During the Junior Co-production Market, which showcased 22 ambitious projects, we were honored to present the Will & Agency / PUBLIKUM Audience Awareness Award.
Our partner Rikke Flodin served on the jury alongside Senior Consultant Maria Villadsen and Niklas Teng from LevelK. We are excited to announce the winner:
Project: “Acorn’s Adventure”
Director/Writer: Filip Mašek
Producers: Pure Shore and Fabian Driehorst
It was a pleasure to reconnect with the community and celebrate our shared passion for meaningful storytelling. We look forward to seeing these projects continue to grow.
